How can we turbo charge classic corporate innovation to solve the Plastic Pollution Crisis?

Bringing together young students, graduates, ballet dancers, behaviour scientists, musicians, mums, teachers, investors, influencers and industry leaders to solve the crisis.

Facilitating radical thinking through cross pollination, open innovation and diversity. A ten hour exclusive ‘Open Innovation’ hackathon based on design thinking at Imperial College London with a “What next?” strategy to get the best solutions seed funded. Two ideas (out of the ten final ideas) are now registered as new startups in the UK with seed funding of ~£150k.

The hackathon was personally endorsed by UK Environment Secretary of State Michael Gove MP.

How do we connect & engage people with plastic pollution in a fun way?

Bringing awareness to the plastic waste in the canals, rivers where it all begins.

Dhruv used his hand made bamboo bike to cycle “On” waterways collecting plastic litter to share, talk and inspire action about plastic pollution. He can be seen on the Thames, the Hudson river and other waterways in the UK and the Netherlands.

The project reached over 300million people worldwide on CNN, BBC, Times Square, ITV, Standard, Euronews, NBC news … UK Prime Minister Theresa May personally praised Dhruv for his efforts in inspiring a global revolution while also receiving The Prime Ministers “Points of Light” award.

How do we democratise impact entrepreneurship and bring purpose driven founders to the same start line?

Bringing impact entrepreneurs from all over the world to one online impact startup school.

A six week exclusive global “Impact Startup School” with curated content to help founders build their ideas/ supply chains with the planet & people at the heart, from day one.

50 startups from 25 countries participated in the last cohort with solutions ranging from waste to resource, reuse/ refill business models, bacterial & microorganism based solutions to sustainable and green solutions for the space industry.

How can we inspire more radical ideas to solve plastic pollution?

Bringing young people & grand parents together to generate ideas and find solutions. Moving the conversation from the board room to the dining room.

A ten hour exclusive ‘Open Innovation’ hackathon based on design thinking at Wycombe Abbey School in England.

We skipped the Millennial and GenX generation since they are too bogged down with regulations & standards. Only 8-18 yr olds and their grand parents were invited to come up with revolutionary ideas.
